For the Winter Volunteers - a special group of friends from the North who come to campus each winter - Rio Grande is a place to serve the Lord. These industrious volunteers have built most of the campus buildings, enabling the Institute to be better stewards of the finances God provides. Their contributions in a variety of areas - from cooking to quilting and from landscaping to plumbing - are greatly appreciated by staff and students alike.
Winter Volunteers come from all parts of the U.S. and Canada to serve the Lord and share in the mission work of Rio Grande Bible Institute with their skills. RGBI supplies full RV hookups.
A fee, however, is charged for the RV telephone connection. In exchange for this RV space, RGBI expects 28 hours of labor during the Monday-through-Thursday work week. Weekends are free for travel, sightseeing, or service in a local church.
